DISTURBED - After such a disturbed night, Grace knew that she would need a bit of a sleep in, and hoped Rufus and Bailey would also be exhausted, and not be ready to go for a walk at the crack of dawn

DOONA - When she woke, Grace’s eyes were gritty and her throat tight, while her head felt stuffed with cotton wool - a typical high pollen day - and she shoved the doona to one side as she got up, but at least Bailey had recovered from his midnight foray and Rufus was being adorable as he put a paw over Bailey in comfort.

DELICIOUS - Since she felt that leaving the house was beyond her at the moment, Grace decided to order a delicious snack from her favourite cafe, and have it delivered to her house so she could enjoy it while sitting in the privacy of her back yard, watching the two dogs play with each other - she also ensured that she had treats for her two canine friends.

SWARM - As the delivery app on her phone had recently started offering drone delivery, Grace selected that option, and peered upwards into the sky as, ten minutes later, she heard what sounded like a swarm of bees (but of course it was the mechanical buzz of the drone!).

MAGICAL - Rufus and Bailey stopped playing and, standing completely still, cocked their heads in confusion while witnessing the almost magical way a delicious smelling bag of food was lowered down to their owner, who's mood lifted at their comical reaction.

GROWL - Grace gathered up the delivered items which had arrived in three separate drone drops, waved to Mrs Jenkins across the road, and hurried the dogs indoors just as the skies began to growl with menacing thunder.

LIGHTNING - The storm arrived with fierce winds, thunder and lightning. The dogs were looking scared and to be honest  Grace was too:-(  The heavy rain on the tin roof was deafening.  When the storm died done she rang Mrs Jenkins to find out if she was doing ok.

GARBAGE - Mrs Jenkins thanked Grace for her concern, and explained that she was perfectly alright, but the strong winds had blown her bins over, strewing garbage all over her driveway.  After making sure that both dogs were now calm, she went over the Mrs Jenkins' house to help her with the clean up, leaving Rufus and Bailey with a special treat each.
