yes tom jones was a soxy old rocker, a little bit before my time:^O but still going strong...

love the black man ray, got that on the old cassettes, pity there is nothing to play them on these days, but we still have an older stereo which has the tape player on it, the sound quality is terrible compared to these days.

I still have a ton of old cassettes, can't bear to part with them. I used to tape the 2JJ or was it 2JJJ top 40 off the radio in the early 80's..I still have those, shocking quality, can still hear the click of the on/off button and occasionally the DJ's lead in...but they are a great archive of early 80's indie Aussie tunes (some from groups that disappeared into the ether) and mostly Brit indie pop.

You can get a contraption that turns cassettes into mp3's, normally this would seem a complete waste of time but finding some of those songs is almost impossible now. And I have tapes I've collected on my travels around the globe in obscure places, that I would like to transfer...
