ok, advice time

The hole where the clot was has been having the dressing changed everyday and I have this antibiotic gel stuff to put on it.

The last 3 days it has been dry and looked good.

Today and even more tonight, it is weeping heaps. SHould I just put the same stuff on it and do as I have been or should I put some sorta drying stuff on it (dunno what that is but Chris insists that is what I should do and says it is a common thing) No idea here

Sorry Fran, I don't really know what you should do apart from contact the doctor asap.

And if you do use a drying agent you know what I'd advise.

How is you leg feeling btw?

Leg is ok...probs over did things a bit tonight doing the outdoor blower thing...but it has been rested most of the day and yesty

if the doc has told you to only use the gel stuff then that is what you use .......never introduce anything else to a new wound without first checking with your doctor ......you could cause an infection or make it worse .....
