grrr bluddy power has been off for the last 3 hrs .... so only just getting back ....been sitting in the dark with a couple of piddly candles burning .....

Gee that sucks not having power when you had so much to do.
I have a power inverter these days that will run a small TV a light and my laptop, a gas barbie with a wok burner to make coffee and cook a meal on.
and if its a realy long outage I can fire up a generator

well hawk I have a gas stove .... so no probs with eating .... just dont have that many candles anymore ..... used to have heaps but have used them and not replaced them ..... may hav e to get a couple of those push lights ..... where you push the middle and they light up ..... they use them in garages and sheds to see everything 😉

the inconvenience was I had no clue what was still turned on as I was in the lounge watching a 60mins tape from a couple of weeks ago ..... and missy had gone to bed ..... had I gone to bed it would have been bedlam when the power came back on PMSL ....with all the lights etc coming on at once 😛

been crook all day ..... started chatting with the porcelain this morn at abou 4.30am ....but had to go to work ..... stayed until they found someone to work for me ....then home ...at about 10am ..... got home and took some panadol then into bed until about 4.15pm .....

feel a bit better ..... havent eaten or drunk much since the last chuck 😞

hoping its a 24hr bug and its done its worst .... 😐
