Trying to work out when we can get away.  We have two 60th birthdays, and engagement and a doctor's appointment to work around.

well seems today ...like I havent been away .... back to the same ol same ol routine .... **sigh** ..... oh well maybe will start saving for another holiday in 12 mths ... instead of waiting for 2yrs this time 😉

Had two of the grandchildren here late yesterday afternoon and they wore me out, so I'm checking out early:-D

Good morning last posters!

lol at all the kids.  We were talking to a friend and mentioned that our one and only grandchild had started school this year - she had 6 grandchildren start school.  Imagine that Christmas get together.  Mind you, I would love lots.  Being an only child myself and OH's two sisters departing early, we are a very small family.  We have one of each but one is gay but, after 6 years the other one is hoping to have another :-).

Nice autumn day here - sunny but not humid.  Going to do the dreaded grocery shopping and then have son and his family for dinner.

"and you only hve to be young at heart to cope with kids" - this is very true, however my sleeping pattern has been even more erratic than usual - I need a holiday:-D

I'm off to catch up on some knitting orders and some late night tv:-)

hmmm my mother knits .... makes up her own patterns ... her work is beautiful ... I cant knit to save my life LOL ..... Ived knitted one jumper in my whole life .... and it was ok ...LOL but it was for me 😉

I did knit the bananas in pyjamas for my nieces & nephews when they were little ....

but my forte is sewing .... mind you mum was trained as a dressmaker ...so thats obviously where I got it from .... and my grandmad used to hand embroider things as did mum .... and I have the knack of being able to do that also ... 😉  not that I have the time to do any of that anymore .... too busy at work !
