Hawk, that is sad - 64 is my age and too young to be told that news. Lets hope the time he has left is spent with some peace.
Peela, your holiday sounds lovely. What a great way to remember your dad.
I have a friend of 30 years who is in her last days/weeks after a huge fight. She has ovarian cancer that has spread and is now 39 kgs, not eating, has to be carried to toilet etc. Her past 12 months has been continual chemo and her quality of life has not been good. I hope she passes into peace soon.
A new year but every year has it's sadness - let's hope this year will be better than the last. ♥

hawk ... thank goodness he hasnt been sick ... that makes it a bit easier to manage ....although still not a good result ...
well quiet here .... watched some tv as the new year ticked over then went to bed LOL ..... Im such a party animal .... NOT !
well long weekend over and done with for now ...

Good Evening Peela & Hawk - been mia for a couple of days. Been doing some Spring cleaning since I didn't do it in Spring! Whe I eventually get on the computer, I end up falling to sleep. Doesn't help that I use the laptop from my recliner.
My friend is comfortable as palliative care visit her twice a day. They make sure terminal patients stay comfortable. They are a wonderful service.
Holiday is getting closer Peela. Lucky you. This time next week we will be off in the van for a week. Can't wait.
