I meant to tell you Peela that Miss worked in the Pre School room and was invited to work there again yesterday. She was in the babies room. 15 minutes before she was due to finish she was asked to change 6 (feral) nappies. She came out gagging. ]:)

LOL ...... the preschool room would be easy ....although challenging as they tend to have a bit of attitude LOL
ahhhh gotta love babies .....they never dissapoint ! I hope she was supervised when changing the nappies to ensure she did it as per the policy of the centre ..... a must if she will be working there more often 😉
Ive just finished 5 wks in the toddler room ..... and on friday I reckon I changed them all twice with poos ....grrr and they were gross .....but thats what toddlers do 😛
tomorrow I start 2 mths in the babies room at another centre ....was gonna be in the kindy room but the babies qualified is pregnant .....and as is policy .... pregnant women dont change nappies .....so Ive been swapped to the babies room ... not that it matters to me ...... although babies are more time intensive and harder to program for - as their development is slower ....... but the upside is you get to give them heaps of cuddles ♥
lets hope she wants to continue working there ......if she likes it enough they will get her to do her Cert 3 .....cos as of next year all workers must have their Cert 3 - to ensure they know all the rules and regulations 😉
I have my Diploma ...... so run a room ......no more study for me thank goodness LOL

Good morning. Peela I elieve she will be doing the Cert Course after her trial is up. She does it at the Centre and someone comes once a week to check on her. I could have that wrong. I asked her about the changing of nappies but she said she did it on her own. Maybe I didn't ask her correctly. I only asked if someone supervised her doing those final ones but I am sure someone would have shown her the correct way earlier in the day.
Her shift got changed from 8 - 4 today to 10-6. Someone called in sick yesterday afternoon so she will be doing part of the day at the centre she has been at and the rest of the day at anothr one nearby that the owners also own.
I warned her that she may get sick from being with all the lettle ones and now she is compaining because I have jinxed her. She reckons she has a sore throat.

well thats good ..... if she keeps getting work then she will be set ....and they may offer her a job as a floater between the centres .....or a full time job with them ..... all good !
tell her to get the flu injection and she should be ok...... shes young so shouldnt catch too many bugs 😉
