Ebay has no record of a recent purchase I made through Ebay on my purchase history!!

.............even if it has always been possible (I think) to make a purchase as a guest.
Yes that's always been possible, but it's now fairly easy to find "guest" purchases in Paypal and transfer them to the main account.
