As has been said, you cannot contact eBay by phone. The call center has been closed for 18 months due to Covid

As far as a return matter goes, there is not much eBay can do anyway, it is between yourself and the seller/buyer and the correct procedures need to be followed

If you open your own topic here, other members will be able to give you better advice than eBay staff ever would

I do hope you have made yourself aware of the hold on funds for all sellers who have not sold anything for some time

And that you fully signed up to managed payments (and were approved/verified) before selling

I am having difficulty with a seller regarding a 5yr warranty on an item. I have emailed then 4 times by email and they have ignored me. I know that the return window expired in Oct 2021 but the item has a 5 yr warranty. How can I proceed when the seller is ignoring me???

Better to start your own topic about this, as it not about phoning eBay (and besides, eBay are not going to do a thing after all this time).

Was there a real 5 year warranty? (MUST be an authorised seller or re-seller registered in Australia) 

or an ordinary seller? (Just the word warranty on the ad)

If there really was a warranty, (unlikely if the seller is not responding) contact the actual company

There is no eBay Motors (in Australia), and if you saw a car or other vehicle listed on Facebook or other site at well-below market value price, it is a long-running Romanian scam which will end with you having NO car, your MONEY taken (and unable to be recovered as it's immediately transferred either overseas or to a bitcoin account for the scammers), and your ID compromised.

If a car or other vehicle looks TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, it is a scam relying upon human greed or naïveté.

Hopefully you have not paid any money.

Me too! Want to return an item but the return address eBay provided appears bogus. "Trish, Queen st, North Ward, Qld. I've printed the label for the return but I'm pretty sure it's not going anywhere. The contact page is useless and takes me around in circles. Is it so hard to provide real customer service?

SCAM...............eBay does not handle deals, it is only an advertising media for buyers and sellers to meet.

If the deal seems very good..................then it's because it's too good to be true.

The only way to purchase a vehicle or any large purchase online is to inspect the vehicle in person before handing over any money.

Treat it the same way you would through a newspaper classified ad.

Did you actually buy something for that amount and it did'nt arrive?

Was your account hacked?

Did the amount come out for no reason at all?
