How do I know when a policy violation has been cleared from my account?

I have recently requested to increase my selling limit (which is at 480 items a month) and after speaking to eBay support, found out that I am unable to due to a policy violation (item location).

Since this, all our products that were causing this violation were removed and eBay support have told me that the violation is still active and that it can take 1 to 2 months to clear, however another support chat told me only a couple of weeks. Not sure what to think.

Does anyone know how long it can take realistically? And is there anything I can do to speed up the process?

Thanks everyone

My understanding is that policy strikes are on a 12 month rolling system. Also that a single strike would not normally result in restrictions.

Have you been restricted? If so, what were you told? If not, you will just have to wear the violation until it expires next year, and ensure that your listings are accurate.
