I'd like to know what is the point of feedback if a member can make their feedback private? All feedback should be public!

I have had a problem with a buyer over an item i sold that she didn't pay for which resulted in her leaving me neutral feedback with a nasty comment. Her feedback is set to private and i think that's not fair to all as i'd like to see if anyone else had a similar problem with this buyer. I didn't have the heart to click on neutral for her so i left positive feedback for her but had my say in the comments section, which was to no avail because no one can read it with her feedback set to private!
