I opened an account a few years (by signing in through google) ago and almost never opened it ever since. I recently got into card collecting and I heard that eBay was a great place to buy cards so I tried to sign in - and to my surprise I had been suspended.
I have never bought an item, bid for an item, sold an item. To my knowledge, I might've opened the app once or twice in the last couple of years - and even then I can't imagine I would've been logged in. I heard VPN might have been an issue - but I have never used eBay and VPN together. Like I mentioned - I had a negligible interaction with my account at all.
I have tried contacting support - through email and on twitter - but both refuse to provide any reason for my suspension. I'm also limited in my ability to access the help tab since my account is locked out. For some reason, this community part doesn't seem to be locked out so I thought I would ask here.
Any help would be appreciated.
You’ll need to contact eBay Live Chat. (Email is absolutely useless as it is set up with auto response bots which - after a day, 2 days, whatever it may be - will reply with an auto-generated mishmash that almost certainly won’t address your issue.)

No… the link after “If you can’t log into your account”. I think that will get you through with the “hacked account” option.
