It can only be done through another purchase from the vendor.
ie. I purchase my anti virus through PP as they always try to renew early and at a greater cost if automatically renewed.
Each time I renew I go and turn off their ability to automatically renew by turning off their recurring payments.
I have no problem renewing again - it's a new purchase.
