I see two ways of finding purchases going back that far.
First is through feedback. Have a look at feedback received and feedback you left for sellers. You will have to try to remember what sort of things you bought though as feedback doesn't have date stamps.
Second is through the "You won" emails eBay used to send back then. If you are a little OCD like me you would have kept those congratulatory emails from eBay (possibly in a folder in your email titled "ebay you won")
