why am i being charged final value fees when i previously had an message stating that i could have ten listings until the end of June free of fees.

 Also when i try to read my messages i am required to sign in again and when i insert my password it rejects it even though i am already in my account.

WIth regard to reading your messages and having to sign in again, just bear in mind that eBay's coding is quite clunky and prone to technical glitches.

• If you are using Internet Explorer as your browser, you should switch to something like Firefox, Chrome, Edge, etc. eBay is rendered most clumsily and poorly in IE.
• If you haven't cleared your browser history and cookies for a while, doing so may be of help.
• Doing a hard refresh (Ctrl + F5) will reload the page/site without using the local cache which might contain corrupted elements; this often helps.

With regard to the Final Value Fees being charged, as mentioned it could be that the promotional offer had T&Cs that your sales didn't meet... or that you hadn't actually clicked ACCEPT... Are you certain that the offer was in respect of FVFs?

If you have read through the T&Cs and are sure that you shouldn't have been charged, you can contact eBay CS at present only through eBay Chat (because of COVID-19 restrictions for eBay staff). You can contact eBay Chat by going to the Help page and scrolling down to the bottom of the page. (Direct link for Chat is here.) Select the appropriate subject. Then, when the blue Start Chat button appears under Chat with Us (left column), click onto that.

It is only pertaining to the ones you list in that promo and provided you formally accepted the promo.

Were the listings sold the ones listed within the promo ?

Did you accept the offer,  if so the offer is listed in your promotional offers section, from where you can re-read the T&C's,so as to verify that you understood the offer correctly and that your listings complied with the relevant  T&C's
