I have purchased a cuckoo clock with minimalist chimer with pendulum teseJ. The instructions are very bad and poor and I am not able to set up the clock.
I have tried to contact the seller but no reply. Very difficult to get to speak to an eBay agent.
Very disappointed with the process.

eBay agents are not able to give you cuckoo clock instructions… Also, they won’t be able to force a seller to communicate with you.
Rather, if the clock isn’t as described, open a return request for a full refund. Basis of claim: it can’t be assembled, so it’s not as described.

I suspect you have bought from a Chinese seller - look at their feedback to see where they are registered.
What is the item number ?

Have you googled or looked on Youtube at all for instructions , as sometimes that helps.
Also, if you go to the seller's feedback page and search for feedback on Cuckoo clock, does the middle feedback help with your problem ?

I have started a refund but the return address does not look right. How can I make sure this address even exists?

You need to open a proper dispute through eBay's MBG, and the seller should be paying for the return postage if you win the dispute.

Whether or not the address exists is really none of your concern. If the seller is stupid enough to provide a label to a fake address, they're the one who misses out - not you.
You'll find that most Chinese sellers don't want the product returned anyway, as the cost of postage will usually outweigh the item cost.... so it's more economical for them to just send a refund.
Some will, some won't... but once eBay steps in you'll get your money back and you can do whatever you like with the product. Binning it would be a realistic option.
