Hi, I am selling on ebay to raise funds for an animal rescue. When going over my latest payment summary I realised that I had paid postage two times, one $12.50 payment and one $15.50 payment. Because the 5 days were up when a tracking number can be cancelled I cannot get a refund for the unused label. The item has been recieved by the buyer and has 2 tracking numbers which is silly. What is the best way to stop this happening again thanks? Do I need to check the tracking on every sent item.
Printing labels at home is convenient for me so I can pack at home but not sure if it is worth it. Thoughts welcome.

1. Only generate one label. That way you will only be charged for one.
2. If you do create multiple labels for the same item, make sure you cancel unused ones within the applicable timeframe.
3. Try Australia Post MyPost Business, although they also expect you to manage your business.
4. What or why you sell is immaterial. You are selling, therefore you need to manage your sales.
5. Generating labels online is generally cheaper, but, as noted, there is an expectation that you will keep on top of your own sales.
My thoughts.

My thought is pretty much the same as Dave,
If you make the error in generating more than one label, you have five days to fix it.

Not so straight forward.
I didn't even know 2 labels had been generated , (mobile phone)
2 labels and 2 different prices.
Can't cancel a label you don't know has been generated.

I have not used the ebay label generation for ages, as I now use AP mypost business, which gives me total control over label generation and cancellations. Note time frames still apply.
As per original reply, if you make an error it is your responsibility to fix it within 5 days, if you make a mistake,
generate/print labels, you are the only person who knows if you intend to use the labels you have created.
