I purchased an iPhone over three months ago and it has now developed a fault which will cost over $300AUD to repair.
The seller in China has requested the phone be returned. As it is outside of eBay’s return policy how do I go about returning the phone and for it be monitored by eBay?
It will not be monitored by eBay, not a chance
You took a huge risk by buying an iPhone from a random seller in China in the first place
Doing so is filled with risks, not limited to there being zero warranty
You are 'lucky' it worked as long as it did
eBay are not going to get involved, full stop
Up to you how you proceed and if you choose to again risk dealing with a seller in China where an iPhone is concerned
What exactly has the seller claimed they are going to do if you return it?
Is this from the seller who has neg after neg for selling dodgy phones?
