What is the etiquette when someone bid from overseas and interstate on your item you have listed local pick up only?

I have listed items on two different occassions as local pick up only, only to have an interstate bidder win the auction. Am I responsible for the postage and packaging when I specified local pick up only? The same thing has occurred internationally.

you Toscannini collection in a cabinet does NOT state pick up ONLY it says
Please contact me after the auction finishes for quotes for postage to other states.
so have you gotten the quote for them ? it'd have to be with a courier obviously as its outside aust post Sizes. you offered to send in the auction so do it!
