Can someone explain whats the best way to post phone cables and other items which are selling price not more then 5 dollars
How many stamps we need if we put more then two cables in a envelop
thnks
If an envelope is more than 5mm thick, ie contains more than just paper, it is classed as a large letter and will cost $1.40 to post if the weight is under 250g and the thickness is under 20mm.
You would be wise to well protect the item and not just post in a paper envelope. You can purchase small padded envelopes either at the PO or very cheaply here on ebay from packaging suppliers, and use those to give extra protection as long at the total thickness is under 20mm. Any thicker than that, it is a parcel for $7.20.
If the weight goes over 250 and up to 500g, it is $2.10, or 3 stamps.
