I have noticed a number of postage label charges in my transactions, the buyers are for shipping, however it is being deducted from my account. Is this normal and does ebay return the money to my account later?
If you select eBay postage labels, then they are charged to your account. It would seem this is the case.
The buyers pay YOU (less eBay fees), and the funds go to your nominated bank account.
You are responsible for paying postage to get the item to the buyer (with monies they have paid you). Postage is not free, as you are aware.
So, no, you won't be getting reimbursed.
If you have generated eBay labels and not used them, you can cancel within 5 days of purchasing them. After that you would have to contact eBay and get a grace payment - unlikely as they would have to get the carrier to refund outside of THEIR stipulated timeframes.
