how to deal with the buyer rejected the parcel and signed back the parcel

I have a buyer bought some plants and after 2.5 weeks, on the day of arrival he sent me a message said birthday is gone too late, do not want it anymore. after I notified him that the parcel is on board due to delivery on the day, he rejected as soon as the parcel arrival, the reason, he changed to damaged. of course, it would not damages, it would be died because of his rejections.

how do you handle this situation? Thanks
