How do I get correct postage for large items and is a carrier cheaper.

I won 7 auctions for a total of 12 little girl's summer dresses from the same seller. I first checked that seller offered combined postage, which she said she does. I have not yet paid for the items. The seller claims to be unable to combine/discount the postage fee on the invoice. The dresses are listed on the invoice with a separate postal fee of $6.50 each, except for one auction lot of 6 dresses, for which postage is $10. So the total postage cost is $49.00. This is the uncombined postage for all the individual auctions I won from the same seller. The actual cost to send all the dresses in one parcel will be well under $20 - it will be $16.70 for a 5kg satchel or $15.45 for a postal box. I asked the seller to get help from eBay on how to adjust the invoice to combine the postage. The seller claims eBay has not got back to her, even though she has not waited for 24 hours. The seller is now insisting that I pay the full $49 uncombined postal fee, and also now insisting that I direct deposit into her bank account instead of using PayPal so that she doesn't have to do anything about an adjusted invoice and discounted postage. I don't know how to handle this situation. Can anyone give me some advice please? Thank you.

In C&S does everyone tick on the box to receive for tracking emails (to the buyer & yourself) for the parcels U post? Or without C&S, go in online & subscribe to tracking emails? I just noticed in the email I got this morn (was only trackable) that AP is evidently trying to 'pull up their socks' with: 'Current Photo Proof of identity and address will be required to collect your item'. Maybe we should ask that the parcels be left at the PO, so the buyer has to show ID !!! I wasn't happy when they wrote 'A postal awaiting collection card may also have been left for this item' (without the bold type). What does everyone think? By the way, delivery was 5 days from southern Vic to Noosa area Qld.

Hi, I listed an item as $12 postage ( I usually send in a prepaid satchel @ $12.73) I was posting bulk items that day and had the the item wrapped in bubble wrap, two layers of paper and bound with lots wide tape - the woman at the post office said it didn't need a satchel as it was well wrapped - she said it would be a little cheaper. I didn't check the price of each posted item that day and assumed it might be a $1 or 2 different from my listed $12 Anyway my buyer contacted me and basically said I had robed her as it was a $5 difference - I said that it had about $3 worth of bubblewrap and paper so in actual fact I wasn't a huge overcharge and I didn't intentionally overcharge her. She was very rude when I said I factor in postal costs and handling charges - she said it should be part of the service. I refunded her $5 and she left me a negative saying I was the rudest ebayer she had ever had - I have made over 1200 sales and never had a negative before. She seems the type that would not remove her comments either. What sort of recall do I have??

Hi I'm looking to sell an ice cooler that's been sitting unused in our garage for the last 12 months. Thing is it's a lot bigger than the usual items I have sold and I'm not sure what to do for the best with regards to delivery. What's the best way to wrap/package a bulky item? It's quite big & weighs nearly 10kgs. Should this be Australia Post or should I be looking at a different method of delivery? I have finally been provided with a tracking number 32 days after payment. How do I track the whereabouts of my package using as I have attempted keying it into the USPS website without any luck.

I find more and more listings that state 'free postage' but then somewhere in the listing, it states that posting to some destinations (I am in WA) cost extra. The seller then wants to bill me additional postage costs via paypal invoice. Is this ok according to ebay rules?

Finding it hard to get a frieght company with a reasonable rate for sending guitars.As a private seller i am trying to keep my prices reasonable and attractive to potential buyers.The qoutes i have had seem way over the top.Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

How do I get the ball rolling to claim the insurance? Seller says I start things from this end but post officer tells me it's the sender who makes the claim??

I wrote to seller asking P/H to my address. ..answered that P/H will be calculated after auction. Surely there is a rule somewhere on supplying this information when requested. Chris

Hi I am wondering if anyone can help me? I am in the middle of listing an item and want to add international postage for it. However there is no option Pack and Track of sea. So I selected Auspost Sea mail parcel. In the book I have from Auspost that i got yesterday it states that pack and track sea mail is 10.20 for zone 4 USA. Is this correct? Thanks

I fail to see how an item such as , Item: 321197502896 can cost $ 88.00 to buy and $ 890.00 to post, can anyone enlighten me as to how this can happen surely its wrong! who would pay that much for a cheap item. I was under the impression that this tactic was against ebay rules! and how could the seller expect the item the sell anyway?

I have recently purchased an item from US seller. The seller did not upload tracking number in order details but sent via message. I checked the number with USPS and it came up that item had arrived some domestic destinations in US. I asked seller and he said he only posted the item to the ebay global shipping program. For further tracking details I would need to contact ebay. However I have waited for few days, there were still nothing coming up in the tracking number empty space. I'm wondering what should I do? or where I could find the tracking details for the ebay global shipping program??

Unbeknown to me the seller was selling via global e bay On request I send my postal address in Australia to the seller in Kentucky USA to attach to his parcel being send to the Kentucky drop off station.
