Added my ID with the correct name and DOB to my account. It keeps asking for it over and over.

I've added my government issued ID (driver's license) multiple times to my account, including pictures.  For some reason, it's not accepting or saving it.  I'm unsure if it's an issue because I'm only volunteering one ID for both ID spots, or if I'm a citizen of a country different than the one I'm residing in.

Presumably Ebay will be using the Australian government's " document verification service" which can only verify documents issued by the Australian government  or various state governments ( although not all forms of ID will verify). If this is the case then the driver's licence will need to be an Aussie one. You could use an overseas passport as long as your Visa is current, but you would need to use the passport used in your visa application ( even if it has since been replaced) . The DVS algorithm is very finicky so details need to be entered exactly.

Maybe try Ebay's help chat or call-back services and see if they can help?

Don't know why - but my bank account is my first two initials & name - my licence full name & eBay full name - but it was accepted.

I know others have had difficulty if they are not identical though.

Make sure your name is written exactly on all - ie - bank account - licence - and - eBay.

I was also going to ask if your name is identical on everything

(Obviously, don't put your name on the forum) but IF you have a middle name/s or are a Mc or Mac for example, everything needs to be identical for eBay to accept
