Hi Yesterday I received notification from eBay saying that if I joined eBay plus I would receive $50.00 off my next order, so I proceeded and went ahead and joined eBay Plus. Subsequently (yesterday 18th) I made a purchase of $64.26 but did not receive the offer of $50.00 off my purchase. I have now noted I have noted a charge from eBay Plus for $48.99 BUT NO CREDIT OF $50.00 as the offer stated.

I have subsequently cancelled my membership today as this offer has been substantiated!!!!! I have been a good customer for many years and feel let down by your company.

I await for your confirmation that the $48.99 has been refunded to my accouny.

You will not recieve an automatic refund of your plus membership simply by cancelling membership.  It is a really good idea to read T&C's before signing up for anything.

I believe you have a matter of days in which you can contact ebay customer service via live chat,  to request a refund of your plus membership, I believe it is at the discretion of ebay  if they provide a refund or not.

You have jumped the gun....the $50 credit is not instantaneous.   It will not be activated until after you have received the notification that your membership has been accepted and activated.

Why did you purchase anything before getting the code for the $50 discount?

Now that you have cancelled your already paid membership you ill not get a refund unless you call ebay but you will have the use of the features for the next year but it will not renew after that.  I suggest you try using your discount voucher code again.
