So 2 nights ago I won a bid and paid immediatedly as I always do. However, instead of there being a "$" symbol there is a tiny blue hourglass symbol that states my payment is being processed. When I log onto my paypal (which is the method i used to pay) it states that the buyers email has not "claimed/accepted" my offer. I have researched on forums what this symbol refers to, and it commonly suggests that it means the seller is using an email that isn't connected to paypal. I just bought something again from ebay an hour ago which worked fine (got the "$" symbol) so I know that this issue with the first seller has nothing to do on my part. I have tried contacting the seller twice, explaining the situation (obviously what i bought hasn't been sent) and I have gotten no reply from her at all. I also got no receipt of paymet from ebay/seller due to the fact this payment is pending. Paypal is giving me the option to "cancel" my payment. If the seller continues to not reply to me, what should i do? I'm going to wait till friday (21/8/15) as that is 6 days past the day I bought/won this bidding and 'paid'. Would  I just cancel my payment from paypal and leave it at that? is it possible to cancel this order also even though the seller is being extremely inactive at the moment?  Any suggestions of what to do if the seller continues to be absent would be appreciated, thanks  ... So i sold my car through ebay, and i got the guy to pick it up in person. a few week slater i got an email saying my payment of $67 or so was overdue, for what i still dont know but i wasnt able to pay for another week until i got payed because i didnt have enough, so my account was disabled and i went to pay today but it says that i need to link a credit card or debit card to my account but i dont have a credit card or debit card, thats why i have to use paypal   Any Suggestions?  ... I recently sold 4 items to the same customer.  Doing the right thing, I combined postage and reduced the shipping fee from $33 (4 x $8.25) to $12.   WHY HAVE I BEEN CHARGED a shipping FVF of 4 x 82 cents when the buyer has paid using PayPal and the shipping fee of $12 is on the invoice??   Seems the eBay hand is not communicating with the PayPal arm and is spending WAY too much time in the groin.   I called eBay about this issue yesterday and the representative said they were going to adjust my shipping FVFs but my account still shows I have been charged 4 x 82 cents ($3.28) on a $12 shipping charge, which is roughly TWENTY SEVEN PERCENT.  Has anybody else had a similar issue?   BEWARE SELLERS.  eBay will try and rip you off in countless devious ways.  The fact they even take a cut of shipping in the first instance is scandalous in the extreme, but THIS?? ... I am selling a couple of laptops one was listed with a buy it now price. Both with no international shipping and I have blocked international buyers.   Twice, the buy it now was taken by three separate ebay accounts. The first was in the US so I calculated the extra postage and added it to the invoice, at their request, and they promptly had the transaction cancelled saying someone had used their account to buy without permission.   The other two also offered to buy the other laptop for around $50 more than the starting bid by direct deposit. One buyer is apparently in the US the other in India.   I doubt they are actually breaking any ebay policies doing this, but the identical behaviour worries me and smells of scam, wasting my time and the ebay limits mean I now cannot relist the laptop until next month, I don't see why unsold items count towards your account limits. I am taking the buy it now option off to hopefully stop this happening. It is an annoying and frustrating loop hole.   Has anyone else experienced similar? ... View more
