why is my payment processing and then being refunded by ebay

I am sending a payment through and ebay keep advising the first instalment via Afterpay is being refunded and to make the payment again

This has happened on 4-5 ocassions for the one purchase  - the funds are available

The payment is processed and advised by ebay that the payments is okay 

Then an email from ebay saying that payment is still required and a refund has gone onto my afterpay account

This is still happening to me too, sometimes they go through, sometimes they don’t yet if I use afterpay on any other sight there’s no problem at all.
