A buyer has asked me to send an invoice to them before they click buy or paid. How can I do this?

Why would you want to send an invoice for something that is not bought nor paid for. ??

They have asked me to invoice for several items because the cart/combined postage system does not work and despite several complaints ebay can't fix it. Sending an invoice seems the only way to sell to this buyer (and others). I have already removed the items so nobody else can buy.

Maybe you can create a single listing with the items they want just for them. I have heard that some sellers do this when the combined postage system does not work.

Make a separate listing just for them with all the items in it.

Ok, yes I've been doing the single item listing thing now for a couple of months for several buyers. But this buyer doesn't like that idea so thought I'd check with the community about initiating an invoice but your comments (thanks) seem to confirm this can't be done.

Well, then you might have to ask them to pay in full and then refund excessive postage.

"But this buyer doesn't like that idea............" Unless that "buyer" is very inexperienced with eBay, I'd be seeing red flags there and would be tempted to block them.
