Changing Ifo on tracking on sold item

Hi, I have listed an item on Ebay, and have mailed it to buyer (international) The tracking number I put in was correct, but I misspelled Australia Post (having a old age day!).

Have tried a dozen different ways to change the Australia Post part, it will NOT let me keep it in the system, it just reverts back to my missspelled part. As a result, item is showing "item not received by post place" or words like it. I have tried a dozen different ways to correct it but I cant.

Stupid me rang Ebay Australia to get some help. After 22 minutes of hold and no help I hanged up, as the rsponses were getting stupider and more stupid.

Ebay rep....told me it will all work out, she tried to change australia post, and it wouldnt work for her, then she got told only owner of account could do it (have tried and it doesnt work)...I am worried as buyer is a newbie, and this is her very first transaction. So if tracking doesnt show as being tracked, how do I not get ripped off?

Can anyone with intelligence help me to just change the postal courier on my account?
