Do items in stores show up in regular searches?

Hi All,

I'm thinking of opening an ebay store. I am selling second hand clothing and currently have stock of 200+ items and I'm constantly aquiring more, so I'd like to take advantage of lower listing closts.

However, I've read online that items in stores do not show up in eBay searches?

Is this still correct or has it changed? I just did a test with a few items and it seems like they are showing up in stores, but I want to be sure before I open a store.

Are there any other pitfalls I should consider befoe opening a store?

Yes, store listings do show in regular searches. There arent really any pitfalls, as long as you know that store listings only benefit from the store if they are fixed price, not auctions, and that you need to have enough stock listed, to warrant paying the monthly store fee.
