As of this morning the FB I received from the buyer who threatened me if I did not leave her positive feedback has been removed by ebay, Hoping my DSRs will also recover.
I have also been assured a full report has been forwarded to investigations and they are looking into her history of doing the same to other sellers, the operator concerned did say it is hoped other victims would report this person as I have, but the issue will be addressed going on my report.
I could not help but go through much of the FB she has left for others, it is not just regarding the extortion and retaliation I found inappropriate, but some of the references she has made to her personal life that are permanently on the sellers profiles are quite disturbing.
But time to let it go and move on,
Thank you Foxy for your kind words, and I do so appreciate the support here and messages from kind members. I do understand this is not all about me, I am only one seller, and there were many more victims before me, but if ebay are true to their word I hope I will be her last. 😄
Well I am more than able to speak for myself, the reason I asked for guidance from more experienced ebayers is because I did not wish to break ebay rules, and was reluctant to respond to your "several" demands for feedback and threats to leave bad feedback on my profile if I did not oblige.
My fellow ebayers supported me, and no lies, they read your messages, and no I did not reply to them, considering them totally out of place, then when I saw you had done the same to many other sellers, I felt I needed to ask for help, but I did refuse to fold under your threats, and consequently you took it upon yourself to trash my reputation,
Thankfully ebay intervened, and removed the FB,
You did contact me after the purchase, your item was sent, and notification stating time of postage including tracking number is still clearly showing on your purchase details. Transit from Vic to Qld could vary a lot, so saying you needed to know when to stay home does not make sense, the item would be held at your postoffice to collect if you weren`t home, for goodness sake, you must know this.
But back to topic, you must be aware, feedback is voluntary, I have no issue with politely asking for FB, but to say you will do damage to my reputation if I don` is plain wrong, and I speak for all those others you did the same to, how can you justify what you did to the poor seller who`s positive FB was not satisfactory,
When I spoke to ebay, they agreed once they investigated your actions, that you are way out of line.
Why are those little green dots such an issue? they have no relevance especially with your high rating.
As for your God Bless you`s, I considered them hypocritical due to your actions, and was so tempted to reply with a statement in kind. but I won`t, but hope you will see the error of your ways, and be forgiven for what you have done to all those sellers over the years.
I do not condone hate mail, and chose not to reply to you in any way as I considered you to be unstable and did not wish to inflame the situation.
Plus if you took time to view ebays policies you would know communication/banter between buyers and sellers is not encouraged, and one does not need to converse if all the appropriate notifications are put in place, which I did. but little help to me now, as you trashing my DSR`s will take a long time to recover.
