I cannot locate the markdown manager.

Please help me find the markdown manager, I've Listed things for the first time and wanting to know all the options with selling

Go to Account - Marketing Tools - Markdown Manager.  There are some restrictions, but they will be outlined here.  I do this every now and then, mostly on weekends and it helps to move stock 🙂
