I have three bids on an item and the price is still at starting price . How is that?

Ho is it price has not changed after three bids starting price is still showing ?

because all 3 bids were placed by the one bidder, and as a buyer cannot ''outbid'' herself, it will stay at the start price until another bidder places a bid.

lets presume the current bidder has bid $110, $120 and $130

a new bidder comes along and bids $115, it will jump to $120 to bidder #1.. and so on
