Low postage time rating for a pick up item.

I have received a negative which I knew would be coming. The circumstances were that I stupidly listed an item belonging to the son of a friend. At end of auction he decided he no longer wanted to sell. I pointed out that he was obliged to sell but it made no difference.

I accept responsibility and so I the buyer explaining what had happened, apologising sincerely. The only option I could see was to cancel the sale however she was very angry and declined the cancellation, which I acknowledge is her right.

The item was listed as pick up only but I see that she has left a low rating for postage time.

How can that be?

She was angry and has given you a neg and probably marked all your stars down too.

Not much you can do I'm afraid.

If she had picked up the item and still marked the postage down you could have had the defect removed but under the circumstances I doubt that ebay would do it.
