I have bought quite a lot of clothes recently from TEMU.
The prices are ridiculously cheap and you only have to spend $15 to get free postage.
Perhaps they are doing a Bunnings and wiping out all the competition.
Basically I rarely sell clothes myself, but what are other sellers thoughts on this?
It a lot worse than this, they are not just taking over the local market, they are wiping out smaller and larger retail businesses and getting infrastructure, like manufacturing, reliant on their trade. we no longer have the infrastructure to support manufacturing on a grand scale here in Australia and we do not have the presence in the market to compete with online places like temu and amazon. this is a huge concern, the yen is so much cheaper for more in China, for what we spend on temu items, it still props up their industries because you can get a cheap meal at a restaurant, in China for $4 Australian dollars. so people spending less on temu actually helps their economy. we are going to wipe out our own economies for the sake of saving money on cheap disposable items, that are more of a want, than a need.
