Undo an unpaid item case once closed!

Oh dear,

I activated an unpaid claim and had no response at all from the buyer.  It ended yesterday with an unpaid strike against her name and I relisted the item.  She contacted me TODAY to say she was so sorry and that she had been moving house so wasn't online!  Now I need to find out if I can reverse the case and the unpaid strike as she says she'll pay for it Thursday.  What can I do to help her?  Thanks

Heavenly, buyers come up with all sorts of excuses for not having paid, especially once they are issued a strike.

Dont you think it's a little convenient that she was issued a strike yesterday, but can contact you today?

I too have just moved house, and had no net for 2 weeks, but I will still able to keep in touch with ebay via friends computers, my phone etc.

If you do want to trust that she will pay, you will need to end the item that she purchased, and wait for her payment. She will need to appeal the strike to ebay to have it removed, there is nothing you can do about that.

If you are going to sell on ebay, you have to develop a hard skin, you wont believe some of the excuses you will get for non payment.
