chargeback by paypal

I recently sold an item ,got paid for it,mailed it,buyer received it and was very happy with it,i got positive feedback and i gave positive feedback in return.Few days later somebody  initiated

chargeback against me,the reason given was the payment for the item  was not authorised by the credit card owner. The buyer claims no knowledge about it ,but i got charged back to the credit card company plus admin fee.I lost $65.How you figure this out,If anybody stole money, it was  the credit card company via paypal FROM ME,So thats the YOUR seller protection from paypal-NONE.

I went through that recently; all you need to do is to read carefully the message you got from PP and do as you are told.  Then if in few weeks nothing happens, call the PP number and sooner or later, if you qualify for seller protection, you will have your money back.  To qualify, you will have to send Pp the proof you posted the item with online tracking; if you did not, just write it off.  But you can contact the buyer and point out to them that unless they stop the charge back you will be handing the matter over to the police, as you have proof they got their item, and therefore are committing a fraud.
