Hi I have placed an xbox on line to sell and it is specifically marked pick up only and an overseas buyer has purchased and asked to send to mailing address in the states. Has requested an invoice and paypay email address ...this is the second time this has occured for this item the last time was buyer from UK What do I do KIm

Hi I had a buyer who told me an item hadnt arrived.We worked the situation out and I gave him a full refund through PayPal. Now he tells me the item has arrived.Now he wants to repay me. How does he repay through PayPal after the transaction has been dealt with? If anyone has had this happen please let me know .

I was randomly looking at dome 90's dresses that were for sale when I found a buyer of mine who had purchased 2 dresses a long time ago reselling the same dresses.Which is fine ok. But she had copied my entire add description with my photos and relisted it as her listing. She did this for both dresses. I have messaged her and told her it wasnt the right thing to do and could she please take down the photos and rewrite the add in her own words and take her own photos. I have a distinct mannequin I use and I dont want someone else using it for their benefit. Just wondered if I did the right thing or is it ok for her to do it?

Hello, I'm hoping someone here can shed a little light and help me. I am dealing with a sellrer that has two items for sale. (I followed her instructions and bought the third item instead of getting combined shipping) I'd like to buy them both but she told me not to go to the cart as she couldn't combine shipping there. She said to buy it now and then in the won items (old system? because I can't find that any where) and to ask her there for combined shipping. This is supposed to be a hapy time as it is my outfit for my daughter's wedding. The seller has been blunt and so condescending, I feel so bad and this has turned into a horrible experience. She said I should ring ebay and get them to help me on how to purchase. I've been buying for years. SO rude. Please help and thankyou for your time.

I had an item for sale and someone 'purchased' it, but never paid for it, so i cancelled the order. now ebay is charging me the ebay selling fee for this item, and it didnt sell. How do i contact them or stop them from charging this fee, as that is totally not reasonable.

Hi, I have one selling account and one buying account on ebay....(so a total of 2). So how many total accounts are we allowed to have to sell on? I am a small time seller, and just list the 50 free listings per month, andf sell a couple maybe a month. I dont sell enough to have a ebay store. So how many accounts can 1 small time seller allowed to have? Thank you all for your help and knowledge

Hi there, i recently listed and sold an iphone 8 that was cleared described as broken and used for parts, that it wont activate etc. As result it sold for $400 instead of an operational model going for $900. The buyer received over a week ago and obviously decided he cant make the phone work and is now asking for a refund and trying to claim that the phone is stolen! I've already checked the IMEI with online services numerous times to ensure that's not the case AS WELL as taken it to Apple to check if it can be fixed and they said that its EX-DEMO and cannot be used any longer and that its basically a book light now, but IN NO MEANS STOLEN. Naturally I included No Returns Accepted on my page. What can be done? I don''t think it's fair for the buyer to fool around with the item and then try and claim its stolen just to get their money back because they've realised they can't make a phone work and make a quick dollar. Do i have to give a refund? Do i have to give a partial refund? Can I decline? Can someone give me some advice/feedback on the issue? Thanks.

Can someone please point me to where I am going wrong please? I have lots of stuff that my hoarding wife accummulated as she disappeared down the blackhole of Alzheimer's which I am trying to clear out and "rehome" rather than just add to landfill, however I am totally annoyed at being dramatically out of pocket when things sell for 99 cents. The "charge actual cost" postage calculator then usually seems to charge the buyer $7.15 for postage, but charge me $7.55 instead when I print the label. I then spend an additional $1.35 on a padded post bag, and lose a further 89 cents for the eBay commission. Add further to that the $2.50 in petrol to run into town to post things, and the landfill option is looking like a sure fire winner over bothering to list things! Anyone care to share how 99 cent sales can actually provide a positive return please? I've tried all the settings I can find, but it seems calculated postage rules only apply to multiple item purchases? What am I missing? So far, I can only see to set a minimum price of $5 in order to cover the other costs and eBay's cut.

I am wanting to change the PayPal account linked to my Seller account. The one I have now is for my previous business and I am unable to change the name over to my current business (I have tried, but no matter what, my old business name is displayed to my customers). I have a new PayPal account for my current business, but I can't seem to change it over in My eBay? I have followed all of the tips online, but can't seem to work it out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Seller here a buyer purchased an item - I didn't hear from them so after 5 days put a payment not received against it. Buyer then contacted me requesting me to cancel order. EBay won't let me cancel the order because of the non-paying bidder claim Sends me to an information page which tells me to do the same things I've just done... Viscious circle really Please advise how to cancel the payment not received so that the item can be cancelled Thanks Lightupmylife1

Ebay have just updated my listings in auto parts, they have a note ' to view changed listings click here' when I click on it , it doesnt work, so I cant see what theyve changed or if the chjanges theyve made are incorrect. I dont want to be responsible for an item that they say fits something when it doesnt. I cant reply to their message, what do I do? I have a couple hundred listings , im not going to go through them all one by one, maybe they should just leave us alone for as change.

Ebay took money out of my Paypal account, without asking me, to supposedly refund a buyer, and effectively double refunded a buyer, as I had already refunded her 10 days before. The buyer says she didn't receive the money. She therefore won't send it back, which seems fair. Ebay gave me her contact details, so I could ask her for it back, but when I phoned her to explian the situation, she doesn't have it. This seems an abuse of their access to my Paypal account. Should I involve the financial ombudsman? It's not a lot of money but it's the abuse of power I don't like. Ebay also seems to have kept the money. When I phoned them, they said they would send it back to me, but now 2 weeks later, nothing has come back into my Paypal from ebay. Suggestions?

When I type "Delivery box" into ebay search my listing is displayed. But if I use my wifes phone it is not displayed.

Hey guys, So I'm doing a house clearance and have 10 items up for auction. I have one bidder currently leading on 4 of these items. His/her username is [4 random letters].au.[9 random letters and numbers]. Feedback is 25, but very similar in context (I know copy pasting is used widely here). The bidder currently has bid around $1,000 combined so it's concerning that it may be a fake user. My auctions are collection only and Paypal's seller protection doesn't cover collections. As it's heavy stuff, I'll be helping get it into the vehicle, so should I be collecting images of ID and/or the vehicle that could help in any dispute, should one arise? The user seems genuine in terms of bidding (across different items, they are both manually and automatically adjusting bids). Also, the third most expensive item, they don't seem interested in (they've bid on the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th in terms of highest bids) yet. Additional context - I'm emigrating and I've put on the listings that they must be collected by a certain date.(which is roughly a fortnight away). So, what do you guys think? Genuine? Should I be protecting myself in a way I haven't considered?

Hi there, I recently upgraded my phone and want to sell the previous one. I cant activate it and I don't know why, it's not blocked or stolen etc as IMEI proves. I've listed the item and added in the description what the issue is and that I don't have time to get it fixed etc. As result i've listed it for cheaper than a new or second hand model purely because they'd have to go and get it fixed. I've received some offers and I just wanted to make sure before I sell it that once it's sold buyers can't just decide they didn't know or don't want it anymore. What's the procedure here? Thanks!

What is the current policy. Somebody just bought a large item that was listed pick up only and immediately paid with PP. It's not a newbie, so I am angry they did not even ask before buying. I assume they will want it shipped; is there anything I should or should not do? I remember that in one stage it was believed that there is no buyer protection for PP payment on pick up only items; is that still the case?
