Each time you list an item, you are given this option just before 'LIST YOUR ITEM'

Automatically relist this item up to 3 times if it doesn't sell - it's free to relist. Final value fees apply.  Help on auto relist

New! Your item can be automatically relisted for free.

Terms and conditions state that sellers have to receive an email invitation from eBay, to accept the free listings. My guess is that anyone who took this up without receiving invitation from eBay, would find their items with "limited visibility" as eBay calls it.

Guess all you like. Can't get any lower visibility than none, and I've certainly had sales in the past.

I have been taking up these free listing promotions for more than a year now (I haven' had one invitation during that time).   I just keep my eye on the Discussion Page and they are posted by some very generous contributors  Heart

They have always worked for me    ......    🙂     I once queried with an eBay c/s officer the reason for NOT receiving them ... she advised me to keep my eye on the Discussion Page .

Re: 100 free listings 22.7.15 to 22.7.15

Has anyone had any issues with the auto relists and being charged for relisting? Mine are just about to relist for the first time and am wondering if I need to cancel them or if it is safe to let them roll over? Also, I now have 50 items, and when next months free 40 start again, will this mean I am charged for the remaining 10, or is it still classed as the freebies?
