Hello; I'm after some help please from experienced sellers. I received an ebay email offer this afternoon on my ipad, but not on my computer. 100 free listings this weekend only. I cannot open the further details tab to find out start & end times, T's & C's & etc. Did anyone else get that email & can you enlighten me further?
I'm fairly new to ebay selling & am thankful for any help received. No one else I know & can contact received the same offer. Thanks in advance, Miss Picky.

Unfortunately, the T&Cs link only returns an error (trying to access on my laptop, but no go), but I received the offer as well.

It's a scam
A pretty pointless one if it is, which I doubt.
All the links in the email (except the T&C's) lead directly to eBay AU - I've used my 30 free listings for the month, so I'll be able to confirm one way or another tomorrow, anyway.

Thanks foxy - I kept getting a page error when I clicked the link for T&Cs. o_O

I only receiver this email from my USA eBay account not AU eBay

Thank You! I thought the email was real, but like DigitalGhost kept getting an error message when I tried to find out more information. That was the only link I clicked on, & it didn't work despite a few tries.
I assume that any sales will attract the new 9.9% FVF? (I'm an Accountancy student)
I'm more used to my main site where fees are only 2% with unlimited free listings, but welcome any opportunity to raise funds for more books! Cheers & Thanks Miss Picky.

Its not a pointless one if you click the link and then "log in" to view the T&C's or use the free listings - because then they have your password......
Many scams like this exist. If I were you I would contact EBay directly on the Live chat and ask them if they have any of these offers going on currently. Good chance you'll need to change your passwords if it turns out to be a scam.....
Fingers crossed its not....

As I said, all the links in the email lead directly to eBay - since I was already logged into eBay, I was not prompted for my login details after clicking any of them. I'm quite aware of that there are many scams about, with many of the phishing emails looking very genuine, but the prominent links are to phishing sites, and are usually easily revealed before clicking any links.
