It appears I'm first for once.
Just got an email from Ebay, link http://sellercentre.ebay.com.au/promo/2664 (the usual number) offering 150 free listings from 17/2 - 26/2.
Worked on the account that got the email, other account said 'by Invitation Only'
Will keep trying on the second account just in case...

Hello, everyone. I'd like to remind the board usage policy prohibits interpersonal hostility. Please be courteous when you disagree with each other. Thanks. 🙂

I apologise if my use of PMT was regarded as interpersonal hostility.
I was merely pointing out that another posters comments were confrontational. And I'm surprised that the other posters comments to other members hadn't been picked up by the moderators before now. I note that other comments were deleted.
Comes over as selective censorship.

I read kazam's post as a supportive one ..... or did I miss something ? maybe you didn't read the previous posts she was referring to ?)

You have a different idea of what supportive entails than I do.
Slagging off doesn't equal supportive in my book.
Plus it helps to read everything rather than cherrypick if you are going to express opinions.

In all the posts you've made (1875 according to your last post) I don't think I've ever read you be so down on as you've been on a couple of posters on this thread.
Lighten up a little please. Everyone does what they do on eBay for their own reasons. And these boards are not intended to make others feel lesser because they don't list/sell the way you, or other long time sellers do it.
As it was comments made, rather than asking for advice, my opinion is your reaction to those posts has been totally OTT.
Too bad that you were so otherwise engaged to let me know if you tried what I posted about getting the free listings - whether it worked for you or not??!!
I wrote what I wrote to Casbit because they mentioned they are selling for all these other people to help them out. I took that as meaning they were a person that loved helping people who need it. A big plus in my book. Often when you are a giving person, people can start to take advantage of your good nature, even if neither party realises it.
I just thought it a bit unfair that Casbit is paying all the fees on the items they are selling for the other people, the other people are taking the profits of their items that sell, when it sounds like they are struggling themselves (which I assumed by the comment they couldn't afford the $19.95 a month for a basic store).
I know it's none of my business, but I happen to be one of those giving type people who have been taken advantage of plenty of times and it was a long time before I realised. I've had to learn to say no, as hard as that is. I would give people my last cent, and I have, yet when I hit rock bottom, all those people I had helped over the years were nowhere to be seen. I bailed them out plenty of times, yet when I was on the verge of losing everything and had absolutely no food, I couldn't even get a dollar from any of them to buy a lousy loaf of bread.
If my concern was taken out of context, then I apologise. Sometimes you have to do what's right for you. If needing free listings to relist all the items in the unsold, needing to sell all those relists, to scrape up enough to maybe open a basic store, indicates to me that maybe those people that Casbit is helping should be paying their own fees. Otherwise Casbit is doing it for nothing as far as they're concerned.

Sorry, Maybe I wasn't clear enough. The people I sell for get the net profit. So the fees and postage are taken out before they get their money. The only cost to me is the time it takes to list, find, wrap and post.

Are the free auto re-lists coming off the 150 as per usual? Don't want to try my luck for a few days if that's the case. Thanks in advance.

The 40 free is never enough as I cannot get all of theirs and all of my items up for sale.
All up there is over 2000 items. If i relist with listing fees that would cost me $3,000 every time. I cannot afford that, and I cannot afford a store.
I think It was ebay's intention all along. giving people lots of free listings a while back, then stuff all now forcing them to open stores.
I try to accept EVERY free listing, but I very rarely get the invite.
I think that is where your issue lies . . . . . . . eBay often dish out 'free listings' to those that don't list often in an attempt to get them to become regular sellers. You are always selling, across 8 IDs, so there is not need for eBay to try to get you back into selling.

Hi there .... yes mine are.
I think if you ring eBay, they will tell you that they shouldn't come off, and if you keep note of them, they will refund any that tip you over the 150. I read this recently on a post here, and when I checked with eBay this week, they advised me to keep a note of the ones that come off and they will refund them.
You can also remove the auto re-list and then re-list them. This gives you 3 re-lists again. 🙂
