150 free listings?????????????????????

I got an email today offering 150 free listings until 12th May, this was sent to a new ID I set up last week. It said as I had been selling a lot here is a reward. This ID has sold nothing and is resticted to 30 listings per month??????????????????? What the hell good are 150 listings goping to do for me??????????????????

And this is after they said on Thursday they would not increase my limit because I was breaking Ebay rules.

I tried to get them on my other ID's and, of course, it was by invitation only.

Anyone got a brick wall I can borrow?

If the free listings are available until 12th May, that's a longer listing period than usual isn't it ?  So maybe it hasn't actually started yet

The email says it runs for 10 days from the time the email is sent and ends on the 12th. Starts midnight tonight. I decided to accept it on the new ID even though I cannot use them just to see what happened, it gave them to me no problem????? Could not get it on either of my other 2 ID's, "sorry, invitation only". I dont know how to create the link, but doubt if it will work for anyone else anyway. Hopefully someone else can do that to see if it will. By the way, is it a fact that you cannot sell the same types of items on multiple accounts, that is what I was told last week.

Who told you that ?

I have sold the same type of thing on multiple accounts for years now, including a clearance account that eBay upped the limits on when I had linked ??

No thats not the case - unless you are using multiple accounts to get around listing limits or trying to avoid other eBay rules

What are the guidelines?

Allowed	Users may have multiple accounts on eBay. We understand that there are various reasons why someone would choose to have more than one account.

If it's for 10 days, starting from when you accept the offer,  then they don't

usually work unless you received the email, in my experience anyway
