Having lodged a complaint against Pay Pal and Ebay in regards to illegally freezing funds and also referring the matter to the privacy commisioner. The Financial Services Ombudsman also wants to hear about accounts where funds have been placed under the 21 day hold. Their office is anticipating an across board deluge of complaints and they wish to be advised of individual cases as believe this is a breach of law.

OK this is strange.
I still have uncleared funds, one due 19th one due 29th.
BUT today a buyer paid for 3 items won today, and they cleared straight away.
Very strange.
I am not complaining.

one payment made early today, cleared this afternoon, THEN in a matter of minutes,
one due to clear on 17th cleared, then one due 28th cleared,
then one due 3 feb cleared.
Something in the air.
Earlier today ebay emailed me explaining again how they couldnt clear my funds faster than 21 days.

Did you lodge a complaint with the FOS, or has your selling account hit 90 days?
on 15-01-2015 11:25 PM
I lodged a complaint, but they said no.
and my selling account is much older than 90 days.
I explained that to them repeatedly.
Anyway We shall see next time I guess.
