2nd lot of 100 free listings

my brother started selling a month or two ago and last week listed 100 items for free. he got an email again for this weekend for another 100 free listings.

nice way to entice new sellers.

until I pointed out he has a 100 max listing threshold.

he then countered that he had listed them with a 7 day sale so can relist the ones that don't sell free.

oh well.

I didn't get any offers, on any ID. 😞

Never received any emails about the new store fees either. The only time eBay seems to find our email address is for surveys.

They seem to have targeted casual sellers like myself who haven't listed here for years. Most likely a marketing response to another place removing their fees completely.

I gave it a shot ... sell thru' wasn't like it used to be. If I'd had to pay the listing fees, it wouldn't have been worth it.

yeh!... a chance to list all those lemons that you would'nt otherwise risk a listing fee on. Ebay needs more lemons to hide the worthwhile stuff behind.!

Why would Ebay want to learn that lesson from the other site?

I didn't receive any 100 free listing as well in this account but I did received one on my other account that I'd hardly use...Darn! I missed it! 😞
