Lot of questions from that article unanswered.
Did these people post at a red post box?
Did they post over the counter?
Did they have a fab swanky return address label or fancy packaging that draws attention to what sort of article is inside?
What suburb were these things posted at?

I think the wedding invitations were posted in a street post box. From memory the video clip showed a renactment of a guy posting a letter in a street post box.
The lady with the fancy dress/fairy type costumes, it didn't say. Saw her with express post satchels..not fancy packaging that was shown anyway. Tracking - went awry to 45 different destinations?

Yes, i saw the man reinacting his posting at the post box, and can't really of a reason anyone would steal invitations other than they just took the lot and trashed eveything they didn't want.
Surely the lady who sends a minimum of 45 parcels a day could get a pick-up, or she must have staff who could "go" to the post office in person.
She should keep an eye on ebay for for missing stock being sold by someone else.
