I would say it depends why they want a refund. If it is just for change of mind then I would only have offered refund of the item price anyway, I would also have offered them the use of my pics and description to on sell it in the hope of getting more back.

If there was something wrong with the item and it could be shown i a photo then I would refund in full and tell them to keep it. If I wanted it back I would send them a prepaid satchel to return it in.

In either of the cases where it was being returned then I would wait until I received it before refunding.
