I brought this up a couple of days ago, about a buyer who has not paid for an item. I opened an unpaid case against them. and questioned the sellers "had anyone else noticed that buyer's were still able to leave feedback", as this was blocked once a case was closed in the sellers favour.
I have now closed two cases on non paying buyers, and they are now able to still leave feedback, as I am for them!
When I closed the case, ebay came up saying that I get a FVF, but no mention about buyers getting a strike.
Therefore: this is why I am getting buyers who have had strikes against their names, and are still able to buy from me even though I have in place to block buyers who have had strikes.
Just another thing for ebay to frustrate the hell out of me.
All I can say is "Holy cow Batman" and a few other things that I can not write.

That's a worry! I'll let you know in a couple of days when I close an UPI and see what happens. I know last year I closed one and the feedback icon in the sold item didn't have the line through it, like it normally did. Turned out the buyer had immediately got on the phone to eBay and got the strike removed. I contacted eBay because I was concerned about bad feedback and they said that no, even though the blue line wasn't there, the buyer still couldn't leave feedback. I still worried until the 60 days were up though!
If what's happened to you is what's going to happen to everyone else, I wonder if it would be worth turning on the unpaid assistant because according to that, as soon as it opens a case, the buyer is blocked from leaving feedback.
I don't know what happened with my buyer. I know she's still buying because I checked her out on Watchcount. I was even tempted to contact some of those sellers and see whether she's paid them or not. I decided against it.

I find I can't leave feedback once I close a case.
The only way to do it is to leave the feedback (I leave it in capitals as it frustrates me that I can't leave anything else but positive, when I don't feel like doing that).
I didn't realise that they could leave feedback once the case was closed.

If a buyer is au faix with the rules, they will report your false positives and you get slapped with a policy violation. The feedback gets removed and they get to keep the green dot. You know what happens when you accumulate too many policy violations, while the non payer gets to keep buying.

If a buyer didn't pay for the item, and a upi was opened, and the buyer does leave non-positive feedback, you can ask eBay to remove it.

I will ask ebay what is going on, why this is happening to me and not to other's.

That doesn't seem a fair way to be special 😞
