If you want someone to help, you need to provide more information. Whose PayPal has been closed? You or the buyer? If it's yours, why was it still showing in your listings?

Did the payment go to an old email address ?

If s check all of your listings.

Had that happen to me many years ago.

My old PayPay email address ( deleted across all systems )

suddenly resurfaced and embedded itself in all our listings.

When ebay says "We can't access that information because it's been deleted"

they may not be being entirely truthfull.

Your money went nowhere, unless someone else now has your addy.

If you still have access to the old email address just add it to your Paypal account and the payment will appear as if by magic.

If you don't have access call Paypal and they may be able to credit the payment to your new address.

For future reference never remove an old email address from Paypal unless you reach the limit of 8, I still have an email address from around 15 years ago from a now defunct provider but it will only go if I have to add another as I am up to the limit.
