A sudden change in promoted listings?

Hi friends,

I listed something yesterday, I did put 2% up for promoted listing as I normally do.

Today, I decided to revise it and saw this.

Hello guys,

 I listed something last night and put my normal 2% on for promoted listing.

I decided to make a revision today and the above appeared?

My listings normally appear very close to the top of the page, but no. I cannot find them.

What is going down here, does anyone know.

That's nothing new. It has been around for ages - they just tweaked the design a little.

FYI, promoting your listings doesn't equate to them appearing higher up in the search results.

As you are aware, the general strategy can increase the visibility and awareness of your listings with general access to ad placements, so you can reach more buyers.

Hi there,

I have been using old templates. Eg sell a similar item, with 2% promotion fee.

This was working well until yesterday. Each time I listed something new an error would come up and it took me back to the page where you can choose from General or Priority only.

I will not use either of these as it is unclear what the fees are.

Does anyone know how much they are please.

The fees are very clear... and they're set by you.

The general campaign is a percentage of the invoice total (minimum 2%), while the priority campaign is a daily dollar amount (minimum $3.00).

I now have it sorted. I was told by ebay when they kindly phoned me. That if I clicked on the round box, the choice would come back. It did, and I choose the 2%.

It is easy when you know how 🙂
