From email just in:

We are writing to advise the introduction of parcel lodgement process changes.

From 31 May 2026, you will be required to provide recipient contact details for every parcel.

You will soon receive a separate email outlining changes to your MyPost Business Online Sending Terms of Use.

Sorry, too late to edit. I forgot to include this:

you will not be able to complete an order and print labels for most Australia Post parcels products – including Parcel Post, Express Post – unless you provide an accurate recipient email address and/or Australian mobile number for every parcel.

Re: AP changes

Some buyers don't include their phone number as ebay does not require it so a work around would be using your own. Not ideal as you will get notifications and if the driver needs to call that would be fun.

Re: AP changes

What if the buyer doesn't want their email or phone number on the parcel?

Guess it can't be sent.

Re: AP changes

You can use the eBay supplied email address, although that is not ideal. We know a lot of members only visit eBay on an irregular basis. And not all have notifications enabled.

I can't remember looking for a phone number in order details and not finding one.

Dave, I could be wrong ( and often am! 😄), but don't think I ever recall seeing a buyer's email address.
